Latest trace

The school's own site names a school chess section in a news item dated 27 January 2023 (a draughts and chess tournament for fifth-form pupils, with simultaneous games by the section's coach). A 2022 notice on the same site announced a beginners' group for ages 6 to 9 in room 145 on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 September 2022; that group belongs to the Riga Chess School (Rīgas Šaha skola), which uses the building, not to the school's own section. The school also hosted a Dice Chess cup on 21 March 2025 and a youth semifinal on 17 April 2025 as a tournament venue. No page says who may attend the section, and no dated trace of the section itself in 2025 or 2026 was found.
