Propose a place or report an error

Use this form for a chess club, school, tournament series or group in Riga or Pierīga that is missing here, or for a card that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches and organisers are all welcome to write.

The most useful thing to send is a link: a club page, a tournament listing, a dated post. Notes are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the change record.

What is the note about?
For a new place: what chess happens there, and on which day. For an error: which line of the card is wrong.
The address of a web page, a tournament listing or a post that shows it.
So that the note has a sender; it is never shown on the site.
A phone number or a chat handle, for anyone who prefers not to leave an email.

Leave at least one contact, an email or another one. It stays private and is used only if an answer is needed.

How the contents of this form are handled is set out in the privacy rules.

What happens next

  • Your note waits with the others until the next revision of the list.
  • It is then compared with the club’s or organiser’s own pages; where they confirm it, the card changes and the date goes into the change record.
  • Where no page backs it up, the card stays as it is and keeps any unconfirmed mark it carries.
  • An answer is sent only if you ask for one and leave a contact.
