What the form sends

A sent note carries your name, the contacts you filled in and the note fields themselves: which place, what to change, where to check it and how you know the place. The page address and its language travel along. A hidden trap field, invisible to people, exists only so that spam robots give themselves away.

How notes are used

A form service stores the notes until the editors go through them at the next revision. Their one use is checking and applying the report; nobody is written back to unless the note requests it and gives a contact. Your name and contacts stay off the site and are never sold or passed on to the club, school or organiser in question; the change record names the change, never the person who reported it.

Counting visits

A short script on this site’s own domain counts page views. It stores no cookie and tracks no one across other sites. Each view logs the page, the referring page, and the browser, kind of device and country read from the request; only the totals are ever looked at.

Nothing loaded from other sites

Pages here call no advertising network, social-media widget or outside tracker, and fetch no fonts, maps or pictures from other servers. Following a link to a source or a map leaves this site for one with its own privacy terms. The hosting provider handles technical data such as IP addresses only to the extent needed to deliver the pages.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you want a note of yours corrected or erased, send a new one through the form under the same name and contact and say so. The form service is updated when the notes are next gone through, and you hear back only if you ask and leave a contact. Complaints can also go to Latvia’s supervisory authority, the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
